How usage counts

One price metric. The rest are guard rails.

  • Events

    What you pay for. Each event you publish counts once, however many places it lands: search, audit, notification rules and webhooks.

  • API calls

    Every request to the API, including permission checks and searches. Generous on purpose, so checking access is never the expensive choice.

  • Members

    Users synced from your WorkOS. You already pay WorkOS for them, so the limit is a guard rail, not the price.

  • Storage

    Files your customers upload, held in your cell’s own bucket.

How does the trial work?
Every plan starts with 7 days on its own cell, capped at 100k events. Your card is charged when you start. Cancel within the 7 days and we refund it in full; otherwise billing carries on each month.
Do I still pay WorkOS?
Yes. Identity stays in your own WorkOS account and they bill you directly. Primitives never charges you per user for it.
What happens at a limit?
Limits reset each calendar month (UTC). Usage past a limit is billed at the rates above, on the same invoice.
Why a cell per company?
On every plan your data, traffic and failures stay in a cell of your own: no noisy neighbours, and a clean line around everything you store.
Does moving up a plan change my code?
No. Every plan runs the same API. Upgrading moves you to a bigger cell; your calls stay the same.
